Jennifer Caloyeras is an artist, author (Unruly Creatures and Strays), writing instructor (UCLA Extension’s Writers’ Program) and host of the book recommendation podcast, Books Are My People. She holds a MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, a MA in English from Cal State Los Angeles in California and a BA in Literature from the University of Santa Cruz in California. She loves reading books and then dismembering them, finding printing fodder and inspiration through text that she then incorporates into her work. Jennifer lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two teenage sons.
